ToolThuis handles requests made through ToolThuis.nl. Use our contact page for privacy questions or requests.
Your rental request
We collect the machine, rental dates, name, email, phone and postcode. For delivery we also need your house number and validate the address. You may provide a fitting system or notes. We calculate rental and delivery costs and store a random request ID. We use this information to handle your request and arrange a rental at your request; sending it is not a reservation.
Storage and service providers
Requests are stored in Supabase with server-only access. If configured, Resend sends a notification to our operator. PDOK validates delivery addresses; openrouteservice calculates routes from coordinates, with OSRM as a fallback. These services receive the information needed for their function. Hosting also processes technical connection information to serve and protect the website.
Optional analytics
Only after your permission do we measure page visits, viewed tools, date-selection steps, coarse delivery zones, displayed prices and submitted requests using PostHog in its EU region. We send no names, emails, phone numbers, complete postcodes, addresses, notes or request payloads to analytics. A random visitor ID links visits and a random request ID links a successful event to our business record. We disable IP geolocation and do not forward your IP to PostHog.
Campaign attribution and cookies
With analytics consent we store campaign labels, the first consented landing path and referring domain for this browser session. URLs are stripped of query strings and fragments. We store the consent choice for six months and, only after consent, a random visitor ID for six months. Rejection disables analytics and campaign storage; requests still work. You can change your choice below.
Other optional functions
If Google Analytics is configured it loads only with analytics consent, with advertising signals disabled. We do not load Google Ads, session replay, heatmaps or autocapture. If the optional AI tool guide is configured, your question and model context go to OpenAI to answer your question. Do not include personal information in tool questions. WhatsApp opens only when you choose that contact method.

Your choices and rights
You can request access, correction or deletion of your personal information, withdraw analytics consent and raise a privacy concern through our contact page. Applicable legal exceptions can affect a request. You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
